I have always labeled myself and been identified as a artist. After years of pursuing my passion for art, it developed into a colorful collection of accomplishments as a career designer. I believe in concepts before design and strategy before creativity. I have been successful in creating both large and small-scale projects with the intuitive sense to identify and understand client needs to drive optimal results.
During my design career I became aware of a mandatory element to every creative persons bank of knowledge. This element is the creative process. After being involved in agency, in-house and managerial environments, I saw the good the bad and the ugly. Hoping never to repeat the bad and the ugly I focused on creative processes and workflows in order to produce faster, more efficiently and with the highest level of creativity. I brought this initiative with me to my current employer and have implemented project management and workflow systems for the entire Marketing department which holds 30 employees.
In my most recent tenure at Arbonne, a global skincare company, I am responsible for art directing the creation and development of all global digital assets, which include web/interactive design, award winning video productions, social media support and field communication. I have the opportunity to drive the creative for a talented team of interactive designers and producers.
